Research Computing

SYSRES is a program capable of simultaneous playing and recording of two audio channels at rates up to 48 kHz. The recorded stimulus is displayed graphically. In addition, SYSRES is able to perform synchronous averaging of a stimulated response such as distortion product otoacoustic emission (DPOAE). SYSRES requires a high-quality sound card for stimulus generation and synchronous averaging, such as CardDeluxe from Digital Audio Labs.
